Classroom School Supply Lists

The mission and focus of Valley Elementary School

In our Valley Community, we are committed to every child’s success.

We welcome any/all donations (supplies and/or money) on behalf of our students!  If you would like to donate materials the grade level lists are lists of instructional materials used daily in our school.  All donations we receive will be utilized during the regular school day, during instructional activities. Monetary/cash donations may be used to help us fund field trips and/or other learning activities we feel are important in helping our students grow and develop and to purchase instructional resources for our students.  Monetary/cash donations in any amount under $250 may be mailed in or dropped off to the Valley Elementary main office (5821 East 1900 North
Eden, UT 84310). Donations over $250 must run through Weber School Foundation for tax-related purposes @http://foundation.wsd.net/ . When donating to the Weber School Foundation, indicate you'd like the donation to benefit Valley Elementary.

The following non-instructional/classroom supplies are always needed throughout the year and greatly appreciated:  paper towels, tissues, disinfectant wipes, smaller sized Ziploc bags, and hand sanitizer. These types of items may be dropped off in the main office and will be used throughout the school during the regular school day, as well.

NOTICE:  THE ITEMS ON THIS LIST WILL BE USED DURING THE REGULAR SCHOOL DAY.  THEY MAY BE BROUGHT FROM HOME ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS, OTHERWISE, THEY WILL BE FURNISHED BY THE SCHOOL.

Kindergarten Supply List 2019-2020

Please bring the following school supplies to your child's appointment in August. (Backpack can be brought on the first day of school)

  • Back Pack: Please buy/send a large/regular backpack rather than the preschool/small backpacks. The kiddos get frustrated because their school folders and papers do not fit in the smaller ones.
  • 1 Clorox Wipe
  • Child Scissors
  • Pink large erasers
  • Crayola Triangle Crayons These can be bought at Walmart and Office Max if you buy them early before they sell out. You can also buy them on amazon. When I price checked the 16 count on amazon is actually cheaper than the 8 count. The kiddos like having more color choices also.
  • Pencil Box labeled with child’s name 8x4. Please no key or zipper pencil boxes. Key boxes can be used if key is taken away and left at home.
  • Fine tip Expo dry erase markers, black, at least a 6 pack
  • Crayola Watercolor labeled with child’s name, the ones with only 8 colors
  • 2 sets of snacks for about 25 students. Suggestions on back.
  • Kid Headphones with your child’s name on it. If possible use the headphones rather than earbuds they get too tangled for the kids to use and frequently hurt their ears.
  • Please choose at least two of the following items.
    • Playdough
    • Twistable Crayons (Do not label)
    • Small Treasure Box Prizes
    • Glue sticks
    • Q-tips
    • Extra set of headphones

Please do not send folders or pencils. They will be provided for students.
